Raptors Athletics participates in the Arapahoe Youth League. For more than 45 years, the AYL has provided the premier competitive sports league in the Denver Metro Area. The Raptors serve Castle Rock, Castle Pines, Larkspur & Sedalia, feeding into Castle View, Douglas County and Rock Canyon High Schools.


Our Lacrosse programs feature teams for athletes in Kindergarden through 8th grade, with a focus on player development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and accessibility. We strive to create a fun, competitive, and engaging experience that strengthens both individual skills and community ties.


Raptors Lacrosse teams compete in the Arapahoe Youth League (AYL), which brings together top youth programs from across neighboring towns to provide a high level of competition and growth.

  • 2026 Registration Fees

    Registration is now closed for the 2026 season. Registration fees for 2026 were $425

  • 2026 Uniform & Cost

    Uniforms consist of a jersey, shooter shirt and shorts. Uniform cost for 2026 was $110. 

  • Important Dates

    Practice starts March 2, 2026

    King of the Rock (optional) is March 7-8, 2026

    First reagular season game is March 14, 2026

    Last regular season game is May 3, 2026

    Playoff weekend (all teams) is May 8-10, 2026

    Championship weekend is May 15-17, 2026

  • Age Requirements

    Players cannot be in high school. Our teams are grade based K-8th Grade.

  • What skill level are teams?

    All of our teams are competitve teams and are seeded according to overall skill set within the AYL teams per division. While we don't know the exact seed prior to the season, skill levels are typically Elite, Intermediate, Recretational 

  • What equipment is required?

    All players must have cleats, mouthguard, athletic cup, complete lacrosse stick (shaft/head), helmet, chest pad, elbow pads and gloves

  • How many practices per week?

    Teams typically practice twice per week for 60-90 mintues at coach's descretion 

  • When are games played?

    Games are typically played on Saturdays, but can be played on Sundays or weekday evenings if weather causes game cancellations
